Public Sector - Intruder Alarm Service and Maintenance
Intruder alarm systems should be maintained and serviced every 6 or 12 months depending on type of installation.
Our team of highly skilled engineers will be familiar with your system and are backed up with direct links to our service manager and remote servicing suite.
Your Maintenance Contract
Your intruder alarm maintenance contract with us will include as a minimum the following: -
- Access to our 24/7 helpline-emergency call out service.
- Routine inspection visits in accordance with the standards and Police requirements.
- Remote servicing on most systems (enabling our in-house specialists to interrogate and carry out adjustments to your system without the need for an engineer field visit.)
- 4 hours round the clock response to call outs if required.
What to expect from usFrom the moment you call us, our experienced service coordinators will know from our bespoke IT system the location and history of your installation. Our engineer’s vehicles are tracked and the nearest vehicle to your premises will be allocated the call which is sent electronically to the engineer’s tablet. The engineer is guided to your premises and upon arrival will have the necessary tools and in most cases the parts to carry out the corrective or preventative action.
Our system is updated with the engineer's status e.g. "on route", "on site", "job completed". Once the job is completed and closed down the engineers service report is automatically e-mailed to you.
During a routine inspection visit the engineer will carry out up to 35 different checks of your system which will be included on the service report.

- Type 3 Comprehensive
Our standard contract offered to commercial customers is type 3, however depending on the size of your system and if we installed it, or took it over from another provider, we may be able to offer the choice of contract. For more information please download our service and maintenance brochure here
We are often requested to takeover a system from another company and this is something we provide on a regular basis.

If your current system is monitored with another provider it’s no problem, we can take over your existing system and ensure a smooth process to our alarm receiving centre. Our surveyor will give you all the options available to you.
