Grammar School fined £10,000 for fire safety offences
A West Yorkshire Grammar School has been fined £10,000 at Leeds Crown Court after admitting shortfalls in fire safety precautions at two of their schools Queen Elizabeth Grammar School and Wakefield Girls High School.
In addition the school's former risk assessor Dr James Gibson was also fined £10,000 for failing to make suitable and sufficient fire risk assessments at the two sites as well as a Nursery School.
