Security Lighting
Systems work by the use of either outside passive infra red detectors (PIRs) which will pick up the movement of body heat or by infra red ray which emits 2 or 4 pencil like beams between two points triggering the system if the beam is broken.
Systems can be as simple as a combined flood lamp/PIR unit or as we recommend a combination of detector heads strategically fitted around the protected area at a height of around 2 metres and enclosed flood lamps installed high up to light up to protect the area.
A control pad can be installed within the protected area to override or switch on the lights as well as providing visual and audible annunciation of a possible intruder.
The system can also be linked into our intruder alarm systems to override the lights should the system be activated.
To prevent a nuisance to neighbours it is imperative that you have a security lighting system designed by professionals. We will provide a solution that meets your needs.
Systems will be installed to current IEE regulations.
