Access Control Access Control is used to allow authorised people into a given building or part of and at a given time and day. Options can either be by keypad where a user enters his or her personal code or by card of proximity reader. By using a card or proximity reader doors can unlock automatically as the user gets near to the door. The system is computerised using a standard PC and different levels of management can be given to different users for example at schools staff may be allowed in certain rooms whilst 6th formers can only go in restricted rooms at certain times.
These access control systems also provide time stamping so that the operator can retrieve a log of who came in at what time of day. We can also integrate with our intruder alarm and fire alarm and suppression systems to provide a building management system. Simpler forms of access control are also available right down to a single door and a speech unit outside this is known as ‘Door entry’ as opposed to 'Access Control'.
Justice Fire & Security has installed many access control systems from blocks of flats to schools and offices we are NSI approved and access control systems are installed to NACP 30. Our surveyors can provide a solution to meet your needs.
